Yes, Holland America Line has a reputation for silver-haired clientele, but think about it this way: Many of these passengers have been cruising for several decades longer than CruiseMon has been on this earth, and they are almost religiously partial to Holland America Line. There's a good reason for their dedication: Holland America's latest class of premium vessels are very well appointed, with comfortable passenger accommodations offering a surprisingly wide variety of amenities.

Just one example of this range, found aboard the Holland America Line's Veendam: Ancient artifacts, a classical concerto and a sip of wine can be found just a few feet down the hall from the sports bar, a big screen TV, and a sizable pint of beer.
